The top honor to BallenIsles was announced during the 2011 Troon Golf Leadership Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, January 17-20. Congratulating BallenIsles General Manager Derrick Barnett and his management team, Troon Golf’s Executive Vice President, Operations, John Easterbrook said, “BallenIsles is an extraordinary example of how sound management practices are creating a showcase of success for other private equity clubs to follow.” “The stellar results from an extensive survey of member satisfaction are testimony to both the Club’s operational excellence and financial performance,” Easterbrook added.

BallenIsles nearly tripled its “Net Promoter” ranking, used to evaluate loyalty and the Club’s relationships scores. Finalists for the award included St. James Plantation and Indian Wells Golf Resort.

This is the second outstanding facilities award in as many years for BallenIsles from Troon.
