Securities Fraud Attorney Mark A. Tepper responds to questions as he shares his expertise on a panel that examined “What Today’s Investors are Facing.”

Tepper, a former New York Assistant Attorney General and Chief Trial Counsel at the Bureau of Investor Protection and Securities, was addressing State Securities Examiners and attorneys attending the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) annual Investor Education Training Seminar in Fort Lauderdale.
Under the banner “Deliver. Connect. Inspire. – The Future of Investor Education,” the NASAA Investor Education Training Seminar was held at the Embassy Suites hotel from November 4-5.
In addition to representing victims of fraudulent investment schemes from his law practice in Fort Lauderdale, Tepper has spent his career volunteering his expertise to professional associations, local clubs and financial organizations in a continuing effort to educate on the subject of securities fraud.
A member of the Speaker’s Bureau of the Florida Bar, Tepper has previously organized and presented suitability training for State Securities Examiners during NASAA’s Broker/Dealer Conferences. Following his tenure as a New York Assistant Attorney General in 1988, he was presented by NASAA with an ‘Outstanding Service Award.’ Practicing law for over 30 years, as an attorney representing the interests of investors in criminal and civil actions, Tepper has earned the reputation of “Investor Advocate.”  His legal expertise is also often sought as an expert source for the media and he is quoted frequently in print and television reports on securities fraud. A member of the Florida, New York and California Bars, he is AV®-rated, the highest rating of lawyers in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
