BOCA RATON, Fla., April 12 — NewsMark Public Relations today announced it has been retained by the Schulz Academy to kick off a national soccer communications campaign for its new Super-Y-League.

“This is a phenomenal youth soccer program that pits the best players from Palm Beach County and surrounding areas against top players from other states,” said Mark Hopkinson, founder of NewsMark Public Relations and a former Vice Consul at British Information Services, the New York-based section of the British Embassy.

“The Super-Y-League is perfectly positioned to bring the level of youth soccer in the United States closer to the quality of the game in Europe and South America,” he added.

“This is an ideal opportunity for young competitive players to play soccer on a higher level than club or high school soccer, and to make the transition to the high speed and intensity of the modern game,” said Dr. Josef Schulz, head coach of Region III Super-Y-League and the Boca Juniors travel soccer club.

Dr. Schulz, a former player in Austria’s Division 1, with a PhD in Economics and Soccer Management from the University of Vienna, coached his team, “Boca Juniors Soccer Club” to victory, winning the Florida Division in last year’s “Super-Y-League” competition. The team went on to compete against eleven other state and regional champions in Illinois while representing Palm Beach County.

“This year we expect to make even greater strides in developing young soccer players to their fullest potential and give those who take soccerseriously a chance to play in this league,” said Shultz.

For players aged five through eleven years old, the Super-Y-Schulz Academy will kick off free training sessions tomorrow, April 13, at 5:30 pm at Veterans Park located on Palmetto Park road, west of Lyons road. Qualifying players will have the opportunity to participate in monthly training programs with the Super-Y-Schulz Academy. For more information, call (561) 479-2637.
