South Florida’s Brand-New Academic Institution Opens Its Doors to Students and Teachers.

Boca Raton, Fla., Sept 14 – The Technological University of America (TUA) has retained NewsMark Public Relations for strategic communications counsel, as the brand-new academic institution opens in Broward County to serve students in the tri-county area, from across the country and internationally.

After nearly a year implementing a $3.5 million redevelopment and remodeling project, the conversion of a two story office building that was once a corporate executive center at the intersection of Coconut Creek Parkway and Florida’s Turnpike is the new home the Technological University of America.

The 32,853-square-foot building on 3.15 acres was purchased by the university for $4.8 million in 2008. Since then, uninterrupted by the construction downturn, the extensive conversion has progressed smoothly to create: 17 Classrooms, 2 Laboratories, equipped for Computers, Networking, and System Practices, Chemistry Lab, Physics Lab, Library, 3 Meeting Conference Rooms, Data Center, Auditorium, Cafe, Restrooms, Faculty Room, Administration Offices, Reception, Admission Department, 185 parking spaces.

The new university’s state-of-the-art facilities, which recently received its license from Florida’s Commission for Independent Education, is the vision of distinguished engineer Roger Amuruz Gallegos, Executive Chairman and Founder of the highly regarded Technological University of Peru, (UTP). His goal: Use technology education to impact economic development in South Florida and throughout the nation.

TUA’s undergraduate and graduate programs and courses will include Master’s Degree programs in Telecommunications and Network Engineering; MBAs in International Business; Bachelor of Science degrees in System Engineering; Information Technology Engineering; Telecommunications & Network Engineering; and Business Administration degrees, as well as a CCNA Explorer Program, MCITP Server Administrator Program, Network Infrastructure Essentials (NEI) and English as a Second Language (ESL).
